The User Choice program provides a public funding contribution to Skills Assure Supplier (RTOs) to provide structured training to Australian workers through an apprenticeship pathway. These funds contribute towards the cost of the training that Australian employers or the employee would otherwise have to pay.

 

The program works in conjunction with the Australian Apprenticeship System, under which apprentices and trainees (also known in some jurisdictions as "Australian Apprentices") enter into legally binding training contracts with their employers and receive structured training to achieve a nationally recognised qualification.

 

As a Government Skills Assure Supplier, Dickens Assessment and Training Services currently holds User Choice funding for RII30820 Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations. This means the Government will pay a contribution towards the training provided to Dickens Assessment and Training Services for eligible Queensland clients.

 

We can tailor our training program to be completed on the job or at our Training facility at Pinkenba. Our training is face to face, typically one-on-one or within a small group. We tailor onsite training to suit the needs of the individual trainees and employers. Onsite training means minimal loss of productivity.
